Type:Casual / Part-Time with pathway to Full-Time

Salary:$35 – $42 per hour (including casual loading) + Super

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Trailer Assembly Specialist to join our workshop in Gnangara. You will be responsible for the final assembly and fit-out of high-spec boat trailers, ensuring every unit meets our quality standards before delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and testing of 12V electrical systems, wiring harnesses, LED lighting and safety systems

  • Fitting and calibration of hydraulic and electric-over-hydraulic braking systems

  • Installation of winches, platforms and other specialised trailer components

  • Final quality inspections and preparation of trailers for handover

  • Maintaining high workmanship standards in a workshop environment

About You

  • Hands-on experience with trailer or vehicle electrical systems and braking systems (EOH experience highly regarded)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Understanding of off-road and marine operating conditions

  • Reliable, mature attitude with potential to take on leadership responsibilities (Lead Hand)

  • Trade background in trailers, automotive, marine or heavy vehicle sectors is advantageous
