Job Title: Trailer Assembler

Rate: $35–$42/hr + super
About the role
We’re looking for a practical, mechanically minded person to join our workshop building high-quality custom boat trailers. You’ll handle final assembly and fit-out — installing components, wiring, lighting, brakes, winches, bunks, and accessories — and help ensure every trailer leaves ready for the water.
Key responsibilities
Assemble and fit out boat trailers to drawings and job sheets
Install axles, suspension, wheels, bunks/rollers, winches, platforms, lighting and wiring
Fit and test braking systems (mechanical and electric-over-hydraulic)
Carry out quality checks and basic finishing work
Keep a clean, organised, and safe workshop
About you
Hands-on mechanical experience (trailer, caravan, automotive, fabrication, or general workshop)
Comfortable using hand and power tools and reading basic instructions/drawings
Reliable, careful with quality, and happy working in a workshop environment
Previous boat trailer or marine experience is a bonus but not essential — we will train the right person on our systems
Forklift licence useful but not required
